Our Story: Coming Home to Oak Cliff
Oak Cliff isn’t just where we do business. It’s home!
Our journey in the flooring industry began in 2010 with a small, locally owned business specializing in custom rugs and carpet. Over the years, we built lasting relationships with customers throughout Dallas County, earning their trust one project at a time.
After 16 years of serving our customers from our Lancaster location, we decided it was time for a new chapter — and a return to the community we call home.
Today, Oak Cliff Carpet Company is focused on what we do best: helping homeowners find beautiful, durable, affordable carpet and luxury vinyl plank flooring, backed by professional installation and personal attention.
We’re not a national chain. We don’t have layers of management, fancy sales gimmicks, or inflated prices disguised as enormous discounts. We’re a neighborhood business that believes in treating people fairly, giving honest advice, and standing behind our work.
Our new showroom in the Elmwood neighborhood represents more than a change of address. It’s an opportunity to serve our neighbors, support our community, and continue doing what we love.
We’re glad to be home. And we look forward to helping you feel even better about yours.

Meet Jeff
For Jeff Gibbs, owning a flooring business has always been about more than selling carpet.
Since 2010, Jeff has worked directly with customers, helping them navigate flooring choices, understand their options, and find practical solutions that fit their needs and budgets.
As an Oak Cliff resident, Jeff believes local businesses are an important part of what makes a neighborhood special. That’s why bringing the business back to Oak Cliff was both a business decision and a personal one.
Jeff takes pride in offering honest recommendations, fair pricing, and the kind of individual attention that’s becoming harder to find.
When you visit Oak Cliff Carpet Company, you won’t be dealing with a commissioned salesperson working toward a monthly quota. You’ll be working with a local business owner who genuinely wants you to be happy with your floors.
No pressure. No gimmicks. Just good flooring and good people.
